1. Data controller and references

2. Categories of processed data

We may process: data voluntarily entered in contact forms (first name, last name, email, phone, country, city, address, message), content voluntarily entered in the advisory chat, minimum technical data required for service security and continuity (for example request metadata and anti-abuse measures), consent preferences stored locally in the browser, and aggregated statistical data where the user enables non-essential processing. Please avoid sharing unnecessary data or special categories in free-text fields.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to: answer commercial and technical requests, provide operational continuity, prevent abusive use, improve website reliability and performance, comply with legal obligations, and protect rights in or out of court. Legal bases include: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject, legitimate interest of the controller, consent for non-essential processing (for example analytics), and legal obligations where applicable.

4. Recipients and international transfers

Data may be processed by authorized personnel and technical providers acting on behalf of CenterGum (application infrastructure, consent-based analytics tools, external map providers, technical request-management services, and AI services for chat). Some providers may operate outside Switzerland. In such cases, CenterGum adopts measures required by applicable law, including adequacy assessments and appropriate contractual safeguards where needed.

5. Retention, minimization and security

Data is retained for a period proportionate to the stated purposes: contact requests for the time needed for operational/commercial handling and related obligations; security technical data for limited periods; cookie preferences until changed or deleted by the user; local chat transcripts as long as they remain in the user's browser. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to reduce risks of unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. AI advisory chat

When you use chat, the text you submit is processed by the website server endpoint and forwarded to the configured AI service to generate a response. A recent portion of conversation may be used to preserve context continuity. The transcript may be stored locally to facilitate copy/paste into the contact form. Do not share sensitive data, trade secrets, or unnecessary information.

7. Data subject rights and contacts

You may exercise rights provided by applicable law, including access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and where applicable data portability. To exercise rights, contact info@centergum.ch stating your identity, channel used, and request subject. We may request additional information to verify identity and protect third-party data.

8. Version, updates and precedence

This notice may be updated in case of legal, organizational, or technical changes. The version published on the website is the one applicable at the time of consultation. In case of divergence between operational summaries and this extended text, this extended version prevails, without prejudice to mandatory applicable law.
